Welcome to Divine Savior United Methodist Church We are delighted to tell you about our faith community and invite you to make this your church!
We offer Sunday worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.. Church school for all ages starts at 9:40 a.m. (September - May) followed by a 10:30 a.m. fellowship time. Day care is provided during the Sunday services and church school.
We offer diverse programming to reach out to all people with a welcoming heart. Seasonal studies meet in the evening to explore the aspects of our faith. Adult education classes meet each Sunday at 9:40 a.m..
The Church has an active Middle/High School Youth Group which includes Covenant Disciple group, Mission trips and The Master's Hands Puppet and Mime Ministry. Vacation Bible School is a special week of fun and learning for children each summer. We have an adult choir and multiple opportunities for vocal and instrumental music ministry expressions. In addition, the church has an active United Methodist Women's organization.
The Church helps staff a homeless shelter in Madison, participates in Meals on Wheels, various food drives, the CROP walk and sponsors Venturing Crew 451. We support Habitat for Humanity (we are privileged to have participated in Dane County's first Apostles Build) and the Wexford Ridge Community. We are in a Covenant Partnership with the Give Ye Them to Eat program and United Methodist missionaries Terry and Muriel Henderson in Tlancualpican, Mexico. In addition, we help to support thousands of mission projects through the United Methodist connectional system. Through Divine Savior, you can make a difference.
