Our Middle School youth use "Connect: Life and Christian Faith for Teens."
This topical, activity-based resource helps teens explore life and Christian faith.
|
The first two units our youth will be studying are:
-
Do Christians have to go to church? In this unit, the youth will examine who they are
as Christians and why they attend church. They will also explore how their relationship
with God grows through church attendance and involvement.
-
The Bible: the Big Picture. This unit is designed to give youth the larger context
of the entire Bible. This context is related in three basic stories, (1) the story of
the Jewish people before Jesus' birth, as recorded in the Old Testament, (2) the story
of Jesus and his disciples during Jesus' lifetime, as recorded in the Gospels, and (3)
the story of the early church after Jesus' lifetime, as recorded in Acts and Epistles
(the rest of the New Testament).
